The hotel's decoration is absolutely exquisite, with charming antiques and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel, including the swimming pool area, were beautifully maintained and provided a peaceful and relaxing environment for me to enjoy. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy access to all areas of the hotel and no stairs or obstacles that would hinder my mobility. It truly made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

I would have loved to see a bit more interaction and engagement from the staff during my stay. It would have been nice if the children working there showed a bit more interest in ensuring that all guests are well taken care of and enjoying their vacation.

The property is surrounded by beautiful beaches, greenery, and a safari park. The outdoor leisure space is a great spot to enjoy a meal and the view. The breakfast with local products was delicious. Cons: I was absolutely devastated that there were no local restaurants within just 1 km. Absolutely devastating.

The swimming pool area was awesome! It was really comfortable and the pool itself was fantastic. The location was also a plus. Although you need a car to get around, there are plenty of nice places to have dinner within a 5 to 10-minute drive. Plus, you're close to attractions like Badoca Park and the Porco Preto distillery.

There were a couple of negative things to mention. First, the unpaved road leading to the property was quite bumpy and not very pleasant to drive on.

The rooms at Ponte Pedra - Melides Country House are absolutely charming! I loved the private area outside, overlooking the beautiful field. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful countryside atmosphere.

Personally, I didn't enjoy the private bathroom with a window in the shower area. It felt a bit exposed for my comfort.

The house itself is tastefully decorated, with attention to detail in every corner. The rooms are comfortable and the continental breakfast includes homemade cakes.

The staff seemed to be not very attentive or interested in the well-being of the guests, which detracted from the overall experience.

Our stay at Ponte Pedra was simply amazing! We were looking for a quiet and relaxing place to recharge, and this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The countryside location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful settings and within close proximity to stunning beaches up to Comporta. The swimming pool was superb, and the staff was incredibly lovely and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved Farouk the Labrador, who made us feel right at home.

We stayed at the Ponte Pedra - Melides Country House Adults Only Villa and had an amazing experience. the location was peaceful and quiet, close to beautiful beaches. the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the attention to detail in the house's decoration was impressive. the breakfast was superb, with homemade cakes and bread. We felt like old friends being welcomed, and even made friends with the lovely dog, Farouk. Definitely the best place we stayed at during our trip to Portugal!

And let's not forget about the super friendly dog who warmly welcomed us. The attention to detail and the relaxing atmosphere make this place a true gem. It's definitely worth every penny, and I can confidently say it's my personal favorite and highest scored place in Portugal. The rooms are beautifully designed, the common areas are inviting, and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful.
